Mold, mildew, and microbes are the dreaded “M-words” that contaminate indoor environments of all types. They strike fear in the hearts of residential and commercial property owners

And it’s no wonder. Infestations by these persistent biological pests often result in serious health problems, ravaged property values, emotional stress and financial ruin. The problems have been well documented in the media. Each year “sick building syndrome” affects schools, factories, apartment buildings, offices and even hospitals. Resistant strains of bacteria (Ecoli, MRSA, etc) contaminate sports facilities, health clubs, cruise ships and even prisons. Toxic mold problems are especially prevalent in moist environments and following natural disasters such as hurricanes or floods.

We are an Authorized Service Provider mPact Environmental Solutions in Fountain Inn, SC. As an Authorized A-service Provider, we are trained and licensed to utilize and apply mPact's products. We are able to react to an existing problem at your property or help you take proactive measures to protect your property from possible future contamination.

The Current Problem: Swine Flu Pandemic

As a new strain of influenza sweeps the nation, people everywhere are looking for ways to protect themselves and their loved ones. Sinclaire Enterprises Inc. (a Service Provider for mPact Environmental Solutions) is at the center of efforts to reduce exposure to this new deadly virus. With our preparedness serving the New England area as well as mPact Environmental Solutions global reach, having been contacted by the Mexican government and other countries, we are at a state of heightened readiness to provide the best form of surface and air protection available utilizing mPale Antimicrobial, featuring Aegis Microbe Shield.

According the Center for Disease Control (CDC) the Swine Flu or technically Influenza A (H1N1) is most commonly transmitted by close contact with an infected person, or contact with surfaces exposed to the virus. Typically infected persons will cough or sneeze, spraying thousands of droplets containing millions of viruses which land on surfaces where they remain active for some time. Alternately these droplets will be carried on air currents, and land some distance from their source. All that remains then is for someone to touch that surface or inhale a droplet for viruses to find an avenue into the human body and begin the process of replication again.

It is well know in the medical community that one way to reduce disease, is through reducing the "vectors" or directions through which the disease causing organism can infect a population. By reducing the exposure to an organism, time can allow healthy immune systems to develop resistance and will eventually cause a disease to "run it's course". Eliminating the routes that organisms can take, and reducing the overall microbial load or total populations on surfaces is the purpose for cleaning in a pandemic. Occasional cleaning and disinfecting alone however, is no match for a virus. If a cleaning person followed an infected person with a spray bottle of disinfectant, they would not reach every infected droplet before being touched by a non-infected person. Moreover, it is more likely that a cleaning person will not use the proper disinfectant for the proper amount of disinfecting time, and it will only be done once or twice a day. This allows millions of viruses to re-populate a surface in no time at all.

Swine Flu is a constantly mutating virus, so variations keep occuring which humans have not previously been exposed to. It is important to note that we are now at a pandemic alert level with this virus meaning that the disease is now widespread. It is also true that the beginning of a diease is no indicator of it's future seriousness. The Spanish Flu in the Spring of 1918 for example, started as a mild disease and had almost disappeared by Summer. By Fall however, that flu returned with a vengeance and is estimated to have killed 50 to 100 million people worldwide. It was an H1N1 virus...the same category as Swine Flu.

mPact Environmental Solutions and it's Service Providers are the only companies to provide a surface coating which has been tested and proven effectve against Influenza and other deadly organisms. It has the unique property of working 24/7 in a way that countless cleaning people could not manage. We apply it in a patented proprietary system which reaches in to the the tiny places where viruses can hide. The company is well established as the true leader in this industry. In short, we are the best equipped company worldwide to help manage the Swine Flu crisis. We want to be your partner, and to help protect your environment as we have so many others. Please give us a call so that we can tailor a solution for you.

mPale® Antimicrobial puts proven technology to a new use

Click here to see the technolgy behind mPale.

mPact’s research team set out to find a better solution. They tapped into a proven, patented, antimicrobial technology first developed by Dow Chemical in the 1970’s, known as AEGIS Microbe Shield®. They quickly realized that this technology was the key to a less invasive, longer-term solution to interior contamination. They signed a contract to become the exclusive United States provider of AEGIS for indoor environments and made it the key ingredient in our mPale® Antimicrobial.

mPale is EPA registered (EPA Reg. No. 83129-1) and extremely effective against mold, fungi, algae and most harmful bacteria. The beauty of this technology is that it controls microorganisms without chemical poisons. Instead, it relies on electrically charged particles that have a unique spiked molecular structure. In nature, most microbes carry the opposite electrical charge---so they are physically and irresistibly drawn into contact with mPale’s pointed molecules. The physical contact punctures the cell walls of the offending microbes. These molecular spikes are undetectable to human touch, but more than a match for single-cell organisms.

To add long-term effectiveness, they merged these distinctive molecules with a spray-able, binder that adheres invisibly to nearly any natural or man made substance---including walls, floors, counter-tops, carpet and upholstery. So, mPale provides lasting protection that won’t wash away or lose its virulence over time. It is equally effective as a treatment for existing contamination or as a long-term, invisible safeguard against future problems. Because this technology is so efficient and cost effective, it has gained a lot of attention in the news media. And while competitive companies often claim access to our technology, only mPact and authorized affiliates are licensed to employ mPale with AEGIS Microbe Shield® Technology.

FEATURES OF THE mPALE with AEGIS MICROBE SHIELD® TECHNOLOGY

  • Created by Dow Corning in 1976;
  • Registered with the EPA in 1976;

  • Features a unique “Bonding” chemistry that utilizes an engineered nano-structure that mechanically punctures the microorganism’s cell wall versus a “Leaching” process that works by releasing PCB’s or ionic free radicals that must be absorbed by the microbe in order to disrupt the cell’s lifecycle;
  • Is odorless and colorless;
  • Permanent—once applied will endure for the life of the substrate and remains effective with normal housekeeping;

  • Does not create mutant or adaptive organisms;
  • Does not migrate off the surface;
  • Does not affect the texture of the surface onto which it is applied;
  • Dries within minutes of application (temperature and humidity may affect dry time);
  • Because it does not create adaptive organisms, it does not create “super bugs” that are resistant to antibiotics;

  • Works across a broad spectrum of known bacteria, fungi, yeast and algae;
  • Found in consumer goods products such as Dr. Scholl’s inserts, New Balance Shoes, Burlington Socks, Wilson Sporting Goods, Drypers, and Brillo Scrubbing Pads;
  • Used around the world in hospitals and Cancer bone marrow transplant wings, commercial buildings, schools, residences, hotels, apartments, beach property;
  • Has been applied to the locker room/training room facilities at the University of South Carolina, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Southern Illinois, Cal State-Fullerton, Swarthmore College, University of Tulsa, University of Southeastern Missouri and others;
  • Has been applied to the locker room/training room facilities used by the Miami Heat, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers, New Jersey Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic and others.
